Joining Modern Tekkit

Modern Tekkit is a private Minecraft 26.3 (NeoForge) server for friends. It is only reachable over Tailscale.

1. Tailscale. Install it from https://tailscale.com/download and accept the invite you were sent (ask Mark if you have none). Check that you are connected: tailscale status shows minecraft (100.109.194.64).
2. Prism Launcher. Install it from https://prismlauncher.org and add your Microsoft account (the server is in online mode).
3. Import the instance. Download http://100.109.194.64:8080/ModernTekkit.zip, then in Prism: Add Instance → Import → pick the zip. It is NeoForge 26.3.0.99 on Minecraft 26.3 with 8 GB of memory.
4. Launch it. The first launch downloads the mods (a few minutes); every later launch first syncs to the latest pack, so you always match the server. It joins 100.109.194.64:25565 by itself.

If a launch fails at "packwiz", check that Tailscale is connected and that http://100.109.194.64:8080/pack.toml opens in a browser.

Reporting bugs

Something broken in game? Type /bug <what happened> in chat. Your position, dimension, held items, the time and the mod versions are attached automatically, so write what you did, what you expected, what happened instead, and whether it repeats. For example: /bug placed a quarry next to a pipe, items stay in the quarry, every time. One bug per report. Limits: 1 report per minute and 20 per day per player. The server answers "Bug report saved (id ...), thanks!".

Sending logs

• Crashes upload by themselves. When the game has crashed, the instance sends the newest crash report and logs/latest.log to this server right after the game closes (nothing is sent after a normal exit, and each crash only once). Only those two files go out, only to this private server (http://100.109.194.64:8080/upload), and only Mark can read them. A crash report can contain your Minecraft username, your OS and Java version.
• Anything else: use the upload form below (.log, .txt or .log.gz, max 20 MB per file, 30 uploads per hour).
• Where the logs are. In Prism: right-click the instance, Folder, then minecraft/logs/latest.log and minecraft/crash-reports/. Prism's data folder is %APPDATA%\PrismLauncher\instances\<instance> on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/PrismLauncher/instances/<instance> on macOS and ~/.local/share/PrismLauncher/instances/<instance> on Linux (Flatpak: ~/.var/app/org.prismlauncher.PrismLauncher/data/PrismLauncher/instances/<instance>).

If you imported the instance before 2026-10-31 and want crash auto-upload, re-import the zip (or send logs by hand).
